Daniel Struckmeier finished his mechanical engineering studies at the University of Hanover in 2007, focusing on energy- and process engineering. After successful completion of his doctoral degree at the Kyushu University, Japan in the field of combustion characteristics of heavy fuel oils, he started to work as test engineer in combustion development at MAN Energy Solutions in Augsburg, Germany in 2011.
During the last decade, Daniel Struckmeier has been responsible for various project and departments within R&D Four Stroke Engines of MAN Energy Solutions, covering new Technologies and Exhaust Aftertreatment research. Since 2021, he has been appointed Senior Manager as Head of Sales & License of Turbochargers & Exhaust Gas Treatment at MAN Energy Solutions. In August 2023 he relocated to Japan where he additionally takes the responsibility as managing director of MAN Energy Solutions Japan Ltd. based in Yokohama.
ダニエル・シュトラックマイヤーは、2007年にハノーファー大学でエネルギー・プロセス工学を中心に機械工学を専攻。 重質燃料油の燃焼特性に関する研究で九州大学の博士課程を修了した後、2011年にドイツのアウグスブルクにあるMANエナジー・ソリューションズ社で燃焼開発のテストエンジニアとして働き始めた。 過去10年間、ダニエル・ストラックマイヤーは、MANエナジー・ソリューションズの研究開発4ストロークエンジンの様々なプロジェクトと部門を担当し、新技術と排気後処理研究をカバーしてきた。 2021年からは、MANエナジー・ソリューションズのターボチャージャー＆排気ガス処理部門のセールス＆ライセンス責任者として、シニア・マネージャーに任命された。 2023年8月には日本に拠点を移し、横浜を拠点とするMANエナジー・ソリューションズ・ジャパンのマネージング・ディレクターに就任。
