Mr. Takashi SHIOIRI, completed master's program in Fisheries Science, Hokkaido University, started his career in the Ministry of Transport (currently MLIT) in 2000. He has engaged in the development of a wide variety of maritime policy regarding marine environmental protection as well as ship safety and ship building and he has participated in international negotiations including IMO from 2022./div>
2000年北海道大学大学院水産学専攻修了、同年運輸省（現 国土交通省）入省。これまで海洋環境保護、海上安全及び船舶産業を含む幅広い海事政策立案に従事するとともに、2022年から海洋・環境政策課環境渉外室長としてIMOを含む国際会議における交渉に参画。
